Privacy policy
TODO: legal review before launch. This policy is a draft that describes the site as it is intended to work at launch. A qualified professional must review it before it is published.
Effective date: TODO(legal): set at launch.
The short version: the prompt builder at /builder/ runs entirely in your browser. What you type there is never sent to us or to an advertiser. The builder sends text to an AI provider only when you click an Open button for that provider; nothing is sent before you click.
The prompt builder (/builder/)
The builder is a web page that runs on your device. Prompts are assembled, scrubbed, and scored by code running in your browser. The text you type or paste is not transmitted to us, to any advertiser, or to any other third party. It is sent to an AI provider only when you click an Open button for that provider, as described below. The page is delivered with a Content-Security-Policy that blocks network requests from the page; opening a provider is a navigation that you start, not a request the page makes.
To make the builder convenient, it stores some data in your browser's local storage on your device: your interface settings, the system-prompt memory you choose to save, an autosaved copy of your builder settings, and Prompt Vault entries you explicitly save. A vault entry contains the generated prompt text (after any P2 scrub or redaction you had switched on), the name and tags you gave it, and the builder settings you used. The text you type or paste, and any redaction rules, are never autosaved and are not part of a vault entry; the request text is cleared after you copy a prompt, and redaction rules disappear when you close the page. You can remove everything the builder has stored with the Clear all local data button, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself, which creates a file that you control.
When you press Copy, the prompt is placed on your clipboard. If you then paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other service, that service's own privacy policy applies to what you paste. The P2 scrub and redaction features run locally and are best-effort safeguards, not guarantees. Review your prompt before you send it anywhere.
Open in an AI provider: below the preview, the builder offers buttons for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. Nothing is sent until you click one. "Open in ChatGPT", "Open in Claude", and "Open in Perplexity" (shown only when the URL-encoded prompt is shorter than 2,000 characters) open that provider's website in a new tab with your complete prompt in the web address, so the prompt is sent to that provider as soon as the page opens and may appear in that provider's logs and in your browser history; that provider's privacy policy then applies. If the prompt contains possible sensitive data, the builder asks you to confirm before it opens anything. For Gemini and for longer prompts, "Copy and open" copies the prompt to your clipboard and opens the provider's website in a new tab; nothing is sent until you paste it there and submit it.
No advertising scripts, analytics scripts, or tracking code are ever loaded on the builder page.
